A five.8-significance earthquake jolted the waters off Yilan County, China's Taiwan at nine:19 p.M. BJT (1319 GMT) on Thursday, in line with the China Earthquake Networks center (CENC).


The epicentre became monitored at a intensity of eighty kilometers, the center aforesaid.


Tremors had been felt in Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou in southeast China's Fujian Province. There are no immediate reviews of damage.
